ISSA General Cleaning Program

Course Overview

This program introduces employees to ISSA cleaning standards, helping transform global perceptions of cleaning while aligning seamlessly with CMI’s mission to educate, certify, and empower professionals in the commercial cleaning industry.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

• Perform stripping and refinishing floors

• Execute tile & Grout Deep Cleaning (Manual + Machine)

• Apply effective techniques for upholstery cleaning, including both fabric and leather surfaces

• Identify and treat different types of stains through spot cleaning and stain removal methods

• Demonstrate proper carpet care, including deep cleaning and extraction processes
